This morning, it was reported that Charlie Coyle, the Wild prospect and standout for the upcoming U.S. team at the world junior championships, was leaving Boston University for Saint John of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Here is a statement emailed to me by his agents:

Charlie Coyle has decided to leave Boston University. Contrary to
speculation he did not flunk out of BU. He is leaving the world of being
a student-athlete to play hockey on a full-time basis and pursue his
goal of becoming an NHL player. Charlie loved his teammates, coaches and
truly enjoyed playing hockey at BU. His next stop is the QMJHL to play
for the Saint John Seadogs

Randle was a strong candidate to play in the All-Star Game on Sunday, but was not chosen and will head to the beach instead.
