Rep. Joe Atkins, DFL-Inver Grove Heights, isn't giving up on the Gov. Tim Pawlenty he knew a few years ago.

That Pawlenty said "global warming definitely exists," spoke of the nation being held "hostage to an outdated energy policy," and a demand to "Cap greenhouse gas pollution, now."

The Pawlenty now eyeing the White House, and climate change skeptics among Republican activists, is singing a different tune, but Atkins, a Democrat and long Pawlenty adversary, hasn't forgotten the old song.

He put together a video titled: "Tim Pawlenty: Courage to Stand for Renewable Energy" to bring with him to a hearing on rescinding the environmental law Pawlenty signed in 2007.
