High school baseball state championship games at Target Field have been moved to Monday. The weather forecast for Saturday, the original date for the games, calls for a chance of rain throughout the day, though no official reason for the move has been announced.

The Minnesota State High School League said on Twitter and at tournament Web sites that the games will be played at the same times on Monday. The Class 1A game is scheduled to start at noon, the Class 2A game at 3 p.m. and the Class 3A game at 6 p.m.

No change has been announced for the state lacrosse championship games scheduled for Saturday at Chanhassen High School. The girls' championship game between Eden Prairie and Blake is scheduled for 5 p.m. The boys' game between Eden Prairie and Rosemount is set for 7 p.m.
