Great speed enabled her to make plays at both ends. Became a shutdown defender who effectively picked her spots to push the puck. Scored 11 goals and added 17 assists. Committed to Ohio State.
Abby Cooper
Lakeville North, goalie, senior
Quiet competitor carried the Panthers within an overtime goal of the state tournament. Finished 21-5-1 with a 1.01 goals-against average, a stifling .951 save percentage and 11 shutouts. Undecided on college.
Taylor Williamson
Edina, forward, senior
Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year. Leads Edina into the Class 2A state tournament with 36 goals and 20 assists. Returned from hip surgery a faster player and became a force in the critical moments of games. Scored six of her team's 10 playoff goals, including the overtime winner in the section final. Committed to Minnesota, following her father, Dean, and grandfather, Murray.
