'Annie'

Tuesday-next Sunday: If hyperbolic rapper Kanye West were telling it, he'd probably say that "Annie" is the best feel-good musical of all time. Since its 1977 Broadway premiere, the musical about a plucky orphan and her friends certainly has been a steady presence, onstage and on screen (Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz and Quvenzhané Wallis starred in an updated version of "Annie" last holiday season). The touring revival that lands Tuesday at the Orpheum Theatre under original director and lyricist Martin Charnin stars Issie Swickle, a 9-year-old from Davie, Fla., in the title role as the indefatigable freckle-faced orphan who gets to spend the holidays with billionaire Daddy Warbucks. (7:30 p.m. Tue.-Thu., 8 p.m. Fri., 2 & 8 p.m. Sat., 1 & 6:30 p.m. next Sun. $29-$99. Orpheum Theatre, 910 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls. www.hennepintheatre trust.org, 1-800-859-7469.)
