You've been hearing about this new Vikings stadium for years. Chances are, you're going to want to see the inside of U.S. Bank Stadium with your own eyes.

Like all popular things in life, though, going to a Vikings game at the new stadium comes with a price. There are various cost levels and ways to get in. Here are a few of them:

• Season tickets have been on sale for a while, but many of them also require the purchase of a stadium builder's license — in essence, a one-time fee for the right to buy season tickets.

The cheapest season ticket offered with a license is $500 for a ticket and $500 for the license. Field suites are the most expensive: $9,500 for the license and an addtional $4,000 per seat.

It should be noted that the use of licenses is a common financing tool in new stadiums — and the ones at U.S. Bank are reasonable by at least one comparison: The most expensive license in Atlanta's new stadium is $45,000. That said, they still drive up the cost of an initial season ticket. USbankstadium.com has a good breakdown of all the season-ticket and license prices.

• Tickets for individual games were slated to go on sale in mid-July, but many already are available via the secondary market through StubHub, Ticket Exchange (which officially partners with the NFL) and other vendors. These are presumably being sold by season-ticket holders looking to offload some of their games.

Some games are obviously in higher demand than others. For instance, if you want to go to the first regular-season game at U.S. Bank Stadium — Sunday night, Sept. 18, vs. the rival Packers — tickets on the secondary market start at around $250 each and climb into the thousands. The low end for other regular-season games tends to be around $80.

• If you aren't picky and will settle for anything, a preseason game is your best bet.

Even for the first football game (Aug. 28 vs. the San Diego Chargers in the preseason), you can find a handful of tickets for less than $50. For the second preseason game, Sept. 1 vs. the Los Angeles Rams, there are a few being offered for less than $30 and many more for less than $40.
