One of the country's top podcasts will soon be available on terrestrial radio thanks to St. Paul's American Public Media.

The locally based distributor secured rights to the radio edition of The New York Times' "The Daily" last month and has now announced that broadcasts will begin April 2 on at least 16 stations, including KNOW (91.1. FM) in the Twin Cities.

"The Daily," which uses Times' talent to go deep on top stories, was the most downloaded new show of 2017 on Apple Podcasts and has 4.5 unique listeners a month.

The 30-minute version of the podcast will air at 6:30 p.m. locally. Michael Barbaro continues as the show's host.
