The St. Louis Park Police Department is warning residents to be careful after two people were robbed at gun point this week at Metro Transit bus stops.

The police released a crime alert to residents Thursday, warning them of the robberies that took place between 6-7 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday on the eastbound bus stops along Minnetonka Boulevard in St. Louis Park. On Wednesday morning, a man with a handgun demanded money, cellphones and other personal items near Minnetonka Boulevard and Colorado Avenue and struck again Thursday morning near Minnetonka Boulevard and Hampshire Avenue.

Police are offering a $500 reward for information that leads to an arrest of a suspect or suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call police or the St. Louis Park Crime Tip Line at 952-924-2165.
