Spring lineup announced for Talk of the Stacks

A food blogger, a poet, and a memoirist walked into a library....

The spring lineup of Talk of the Stacks, the free literary program held at the downtown Minneapolis public library, includes a food blogger, a poet, and a memoirst.

Food, poetry and story: all of life's essentials.

Coming March 5, Deb Perelman, a food blogger from Manhattan, will discuss her New York Times bestseller, "The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook."

On March 21, John Robison will discuss "Raising Cubby," his memoir about life with his son, who has Asperger's Syndrome.

And on April 4, poet Andrei Codrescu will discuss his new collection, "So Recently Rent a World," published by Minneapolis publisher Coffee House Press.

Talk of the Stacks is a free program of the Friends of the Hennepin County Library. All shows begin at 7 p.m., with seating at 6:15 p.m. Book sales and signings will follow.
