Isn't this lovely! The jet stream has shot way up into Canada, allowing warmair easy access to much of the Eastern states. Looks like the snow season hasfinally met its doom.Thursday, 80-degree temperatures will be widespread from Texas, Oklahoma andMissouri all the way to Virginia and the Carolinas. Farther north, highs willbe in the 70s from the Midwest to the Northeast.

The only place that will have a tough time breaking into the warmer air mass isthe New England coastline. Unless there is a pretty good westerly wind (whichthere won't be Thursday), coastal locations from Long Island to main remainunder the influence of the chilly Atlantic.

Friday will be equally nice from the Mississippi River Valley to the EasternSeaboard. Again, only the New England coast will stay on the cool side.
