Workshop: AThis new play gets a "live brainstorm" in the words of the Workhaus Collective. Marion McClinton directs the story about a woman who cuts herself off from society in hopes she can redefine herself on her own terms. This will be something more than a staged reading but less than a full production as the script will evolve through the process. As a result, Workhaus says that anyone who sees the play early on may return to a later performance for free. Just bring your program. The cast includes Terry Bellamy and Signe Harriday.
- 2 p.m. Sun., 7:30 p.m. Mon., next Fri., Sat.; Playwrights Center, 2301 E. Franklin Av., Mpls.; $8-$20, 1-800-838-3006 or www.workhauscollective.org
