'A LIFE IN THEATRE'
Opening: David Mamet puts two actors in the spotlight with his 1977 drama about ... two actors. Bain Boehlke plays Robert, in his declining years and sensitive about how he is received. Robin Everson portrays John, a youngster on the way up. It's a real backstage drama, episodically showing glimpses of the repertory life in all its glory and horror. Boehlke also directed and designed the production. (8 p.m. today-Sat.; 7:30 p.m. Tue.-Thu.; Jungle Theater, 2951 Lyndale Av. S., Mpls. $26-$36, 612-822-7063 or www.jungletheater.com)
