Southdale Center shoppers will soon be will soon be able to pick up some new jeans, take a few cracks at Dave & Busters ski-ball and get their marriage license.

The Hennepin County Southdale Service Center is moving into the shopping mall beginning May 31. Its services include driver's licenses and state IDs, license plates and tabs, birth and death certificates, vehicle registrations, and, of course, marriage licenses.

The center is closing up shop at its current location at 7009 York Ave. South in Edina after business hours on May 21. The new office is located in the mall between the J.C. Penney and Herberger's dpeartment stores.

The York Avenue South location will still house the Southdale Fourth Judicial District Court and Southdale Library.
