Public invited to holiday concerts

The bands and choirs at Burnsville High School will perform at several December concerts that are open to the public. All shows will be at the recently-updated Mraz Center for the Performing Arts, which is connected to the high school at 600 E. Highway 13, Burnsville.

Then, at 8 p.m., Bel Canto, FreeStyle, Concert Choir and BHS Madrigal Singers will sing. The concerts will feature a number of well-known holiday songs. Each show is $3 and anyone who pays for the first show can stay for the second at no additional charge. Tickets are available in the BHS main office before the show or at the door.

In addition, at 7 p.m. on Dec. 12, the Varsity Band and Jazz Ensemble will play, and at 7 p.m. on Dec. 19, the Symphonic Band and Concert Band will perform. The band directors are Keith French and Molly Holmes.
