Target has offered a number of specific deals in its effort to boost the bargain quotient. Deals listed are no longer current.

Last week's buy-one-get-one 50 percent off on all of the kids Cherokee Easter collection was the first time Target offered a discount that deep on Easter apparel before Easter.

Target offered a $5 gift card with the purchase of $20 in Easter candy and baskets last week.

Baby discounts have included a $20 coupon, and Cartwheel mobile coupons, along with a gift card on diapers and formula. It was Target's lowest price ever on a crib with a $65 savings.

Target's Nikon D3200 DSLR camera with an 18-55mm lens for $500 in a recent circular was the cheapest price on the bundle for several months.

More $5 to $20 coupons in the Sunday flier are a "fill your basket and save more" strategy, including a $10 savings with a $40 pet supplies purchase, a $15 savings with a $40 purchase of Up & Up products and $5 off a $20 apparel purchase.
