Not sure how they pulled this off, but the 2-7 Vikings will sell out Sunday's game against the Raiders at the Metrodome.
Steve LaCroix, team VP of sales and marketing, said via email that the game "definitely" will be televised locally. Only a few tickets remain and are available at Ticketmaster. The Raiders also are expected to return some tickets.
So the streak of home sellouts that began at the start of the 1998 season lives on for at least another two weeks. The Vikings might need an outbreak of local Tebowmania between now and the Dec. 4 game against the Broncos.
