Fans of "The Origin(s) Project" who missed the original show are getting another chance to see it.

When this evening of performances about two Korean adoptees' search for their birth families opened in June in St. Paul, the simple and elegant production struck a nerve, and quickly became a hit.

The two one-acts in the evening, "How to be a Korean Woman," by writer and performer Sun Mee Chomet, and "N/A," by playwright and poet Katie Hae Leo (below), quickly sold out. Scores of patrons were turned away from Dreamland Arts, the intimate venue, even after adding a performance.

Now the writer-performers have joined forces again to revive "Origin(s)" under the same director, Dreamland Arts impresario Zaraawar Mistry. The creative team, which includes accompanying singer-songwriter Bri Heu, has launched a Kickstarter page to raise the necessary funds for the remount.

The $10,000 production campaign has already reached half its goal.

"Origin(s)" will be back for two weekends, Oct. 25-Nov. 3, at Dreamland Arts, 677 Hamline Av. N., St. Paul. 651-645-5506.

Tickets go on sale at noon Sept. 21.
