It will probably be a record breaking Cyber Monday, as more people click for bargains. But according to Consumer , many of the deals get even better before Christmas.

If you're a casual online shopper who doesn't have time to keep checking prices in the next two weeks, today might be a good day to find bargains of 10 to 40 percent sitewide (Crate & Barrel, and CB2 15%, Levis 25%, Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy 30%, Abercromie 40% , for example). But some sites are only offering free shipping and there's no reason to rush into that deal, since many more sites (1,200 and counting) will be offering free shipping on Dec. 16.

Everyone was talking about Best Buy's $200 46-inch TV on Black Friday but I have yet to see anything rivaling such a deal on Monday, including Best Buy's bargains. Time Techland lists electronic bargains by store from Amazon to XBox Live.

My advice is to check out the your favorite sites for storewide discounts first. If you're looking for a certain item, check a price comparison site such as Pricegrabber or Bizrate or Nextag.
