MADISON, Wis. — A slick highway is blamed for a crash in Dane County that killed one person and injured three others.
Sheriff's officials say a Madison woman driving an SUV lost control on a slippery highway in the Town of Pleasant Springs shortly before 8 a.m. Friday. The SUV skidded into the oncoming lane and was hit by a pickup truck with a snow blade.
A passenger in the SUV, a 35-year-old man from Chicago, was killed. A 7-year-old boy in the SUV was taken by air to University Hospital in Madison. The two drivers were also taken to hospitals.
