Skewed Visions begins an art-and-conversation series devoted to new music this Friday (July 26), at their studio in northeast Minneapolis.
Called Notes, the monthly series invites an artist to bring a recording by someone they admire or find interesting. After listening, participants discuss the work over snacks and wine.
On Friday, local composer Ted Moore presents music of New York-based composer and pianist Eric Wubbels.
7 p.m. July 26 at Skewed Visions, 681 17th Av. NE., Suite 209, Mpls. 612-201-5727,http://www.skewedvisions.org. The group encourages people to submit ideas for future Notes events. Skewed Visions also hosts conversations about books, film and performance.
