Now open: Time Bomb Vintage

The so-called Second-Hand Row on Minnehaha Avenue in Minneapolis got a new addition this month. Time Bomb Vintage is a paradise for advertising sign collectors, midcentury enthusiasts and retro toy and game fanatics. The store stocks everything from gasoline and oil memorabilia to unopened soda pop bottles from the 1950s from 16 vendors, plus vintage clothing, home decor and furniture. If it's old, they've got it. (4008 Minnehaha Av. S., Mpls. 612-724-2662 or www.timebombvintage.com.)

Jewelry line relaunches as Neal

Six years after launching her jewelry line Carrier Pigeon, local designer Lauren Neal has rebranded as Neal. While her designs under Carrier Pigeon had a rough-hewn, organic quality, her newer works appear more streamlined and minimalist. One thing that hasn't changed is Neal's love of nature. Her latest collection, "Nova," takes inspiration from celestial shapes such as lunar eclipses, stars and the phases of the moon. (www.nealjewelry.com.)
