Shiners are Still the Bait of Choice!

Fishing on Otter Tail Lake is easiest with Shiners!

May 23, 2012 at 12:28AM

Fishing on Otter Tail Lake continues to be a trip! Depths range from 5 to 20 feet on shoreline breaks. Some fish are being caught on sunken island and mid-lake structures.

Shiners are still bait of choice tipping jigs or Lindy rigging.

Tournament this past weekend was won by team of Nelson/Schonawer from Fergus Falls. Great job! 12 fish weighing in at 34.47 pounds. Beautiful catch using Ken's Tackle shiners! Over 1200 pounds of fish were reported in during the two day tournament. All were released with 96% survival rate.

Panfish bite has also been excellent on area lakes.

Come in to Ken's Tackle for the latest advice and proven bait!
