The Olmsted County Sheriff is investigating the death of two people in Pine Island Monday, about 20 miles north of Rochester.

The Sheriff's Office was called before 5 p.m. to the 6900 block of 100th St. NW.

Officials would only confirm that two people are dead but wouldn't release any other information late Monday night. The Sheriff's Office is expected to release more information at a briefing at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The Rochest Post-Bulletin said law enforcement were called to the residence on reports of a shooting. The paper also reported that in radio communications rescue personnel said there were two victims and that both were teens.
