Forget about what happens to Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big in "Sex and the City 2." The real question: What will the ladies be wearing? With a $10 million budget, super-stylist Patricia Field put together looks that are as entertaining as the story. We asked a panel of Twin Cities fashion authorities to give their critiques. Here's how they say the sequel's style would fare in our Cities.

Our panel:

Elijah Chuum, modeling agent and film student.

Christopher Hopkins, beauty and style expert known as the Makeover Guy.

Kathy Ryan, independent retail consultant.

Hollie Mae Schultz, fashion stylist and creative director for HMStyling.com.

Courtney Smallbeck, owner of Drama boutique.

Daune Stinson, owner of June, women's resale boutique.

Christopher Straub, fashion designer and former "Project Runway" contestant.

Shopping with style

The fab foursome step out to do some wedding shopping at Bergdorfs. What do our experts have to say?

Chuum: Introducing the new spokeswomen for Neapolitan ice cream.

Stinson: A split screen of "dos and don'ts." The right side should have black bars across their eyes to protect their identities! If I saw this group coming at me, I would have to stop and stare at Charlotte's mess of a dress. Samantha has a rocking body, but flesh pushing out of holes in your dress never does anyone any favors. For once, Miranda looks the best. Love, love, love Carrie's whole outfit. I need those Louboutins!

Schultz: Aside from the character-defining wardrobe in this photo, clearly we would all like a sip of whatever these ladies are drinking! Does anybody age?

What they're wearing:

Miranda: Bottega Veneta dress, Christian Louboutin shoes and Alexis Bittar bracelet.

Carrie: Halston dress, Chanel bag, Solange Azagury-Partridge necklace and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Samantha: Item dress, Patricia Field shoes and VBH bag.

Charlotte: Dior suit and bag, Christian Louboutin shoes, Kayrita watch and Van Cleef & Arpels earrings.
