SEEDING POSSIBILITIES
The Wolves need to beat Denver on Wednesday night to make the playoffs, no matter what. If that happens, they will end up seeded somewhere between sixth and eighth in the Western Conference.
NO. 6 SEED
If Memphis wins in Oklahoma City and San Antonio wins in New Orleans on Wednesday, the Wolves will get the No. 6 seed and face the winner of the Portland-Utah game.
NO. 7 SEED
Two independent combinations of results can get the Wolves the No. 7 seed and a first-round playoff series with defending champion Golden State: one is New Orleans and Memphis winning, the other is San Antonio and Oklahoma City winning.
NO. 8 SEED
If New Orleans and Oklahoma City both win Wednesday, the Wolves will get the No. 8 seed, drawing a first-round series with Houston, which is 4-0 vs. the Wolves this season.
