SOCHI, RUSSIA -- Olympic Park is one of my favorite parts of this experience. It's fun to walk through there on my way to cover an event to people watch and check out the sights and sounds.

The main attraction is the Olympic Rings. People take turns jumping on the platform that holds the rings and doing goofy poses for pictures.

Visitors take pictures of everything in the park, which means, conservatively, I probably photobomb 35 pictures every time I walk through the park. It's reached a point where I'm constantly on the lookout to make sure I'm not getting in someone's shot.

I wish I knew how many people got home, checked their camera or phone and wondered who the heck that weird guy with the oversized backpack is in the background.

I'll just offer a blanket apology.
