Defenseman Nick Schultz missed Saturday’s game and will miss the final four games of the season with post-concussion syndrome.
Schultz says he has been experiencing symptoms for awhile. He had vision problems after being crushed by San Jose’s Jamal Mayers on Jan. 22 and missed three games after being elbowed in the head by Calgary’s Tom Kostopoulos on Dec. 18.
Schultz, the Wild’s all-time leader with 681 games, missed the final three games of the 2008-09 season with a concussion.

Assistant coach Darby Hendrickson and goalie coach Bob Mason will sign new contracts and return to the club in their same roles. Former interim coach John Torchetti has interviews lined up elsewhere.

Vay will compete with Steve Michalek and Brody Hoffman for a minor league job.
