Walker Art Center's new landmark exhibition launched with a pop.
The after-hours party for "International Pop" included a virtual graffiti wall, outdoor carnival games, an art lab and DJs spinning exhibition artists' favorite songs from back in the day. But that was just the beginning. The event also featured a full-size Ferris wheel on the Walker grounds as well as carnival-themed food and beverage offerings.
The exhibit, which features 125 works by more than 100 artists from 20 countries, is on view through Aug. 29.
