The stars aligned for the Minnesota Orchestra’s Sept. 5 gala benefit concert, “Starry, Starry Night.”

Orchestra supporters, music lovers, dignitaries and donors turned out for an evening of cocktails and dining and entertainment.

After dinner in the new Target Atrium at Orchestra Hall in downtown Minneapolis, soprano Renée Fleming and conductor Osmo Vänskä treated guests to a stellar performance.

Afterward, the Constellation Party boasted music, desserts, a champagne toast and the unveiling of the orchestra’s 2014 Grammy Award.
