Beer buffs packed the Minnesota State Fairgrounds for the sixth annual Beer Dabbler. Part of the Winter Carnival, the largest outdoor beer fest in the state gives guests a chance to sample beer from more than 120 breweries from around the country for several chilly afternoon hours.
St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman tapped the ceremonial oak barrel brew. There was a meat-and-cheese showcase in the Coliseum, and food trucks lined the street outside the festival gate. To up the ante on fun, the dabbler also featured live music, a silent disco, a trivia scavenger hunt and a huge snow luge — which gave new meaning to the old toast "Bottoms up!"
