In anticipation of the fifth season of the hit British TV series "Downton Abbey," Union Depot's waiting room welcomed guests for afternoon tea. The "Downton Abbey" Big Sip Tea Party, hosted by TPT, offered a complimentary cup of tea to the first 250 fans. Between sips of tea, guests posed for photos with cutouts of characters from the show against a backdrop of Highclere Castle, home of the fictional abbey. Fans also got to watch select episodes before finishing their tea and heading back to a much less formal reality.
Season 5 premieres at 8 p.m. Jan. 4 on TPT, Channel 2.
