Nicholas Rivera and C.J. Suess scored second-period goals and Jason Pawloski made 26 saves as Minnesota State Mankato beat No. 2 Boston University 3-0 on Saturday night for a series sweep on the road. The Mavericks won the first game 6-3.

Rivera's goal came on a power play after the Terriers were penalized for too many men on the ice. Marc Michaelis added an empty-net goal for the Mavericks with 1:33 to play.

Bemidji State 0, Minnesota Duluth 0 (OT): The Beavers and No. 5 Bulldogs played to a rare scoreless tie in Duluth. Michael Bitzer had 45 saves for Bemidji State, Nick Deery 27 for UMD.

Denver 4, Notre Dame 2: Liam Finlay's goal with 4:28 left broke a 2-all tie as the No. 1 Pioneers beat the host Irish. Cam Morrison and Jordan Gross of No. 4 Notre Dame scored goals 24 seconds apart in the third period to tie the score. Finlay's goal came 24 seconds after Gross'. The teams tied 2-all in the series opener.

Wisconsin 4, Merrimack 1: The No. 10 Badgers scored three goals in 39 seconds in the middle of the second period to beat the host Warriors. Seamus Malone started the flurry with a power-play goal at 12:01 to make it 2-1 Wisconsin. Max Zimmer and Ryan Wagner got the next two goals.

Ohio State 1, RPI 1 (OT): The Buckeyes and Engineers played to a 1-1 overtime tie for the second day in a row in Columbus, Ohio. Christian Lampasso's goal at 2:16 of the second period for the Buckeyes tied the score at 1-all. Evan Tironese scored for RPI just 56 seconds into the game. Ohio State won the shootout for the second night in a row. Officially the game will count as a draw.

St. Cloud State 5, Alaska 4 (OT): Nick Poehling's goal 2:06 into the extra period gave the No. 6 Huskies the home victory. His brother, Ryan, tied the game with 1:49 left in the third.

North Dakota 6, St. Lawrence 1: Shane Gersich had a goal and an assist to lead the No. 8 Fighting Hawks past the visiting Saints.
