After giving up seven goals Friday in a loss, Penn State routed Wisconsin 6-0 on Saturday night in the Big Ten with Peyton Jones making 36 saves for the shutout. The loss knocked the No. 16 Badgers (19-12-1, 12-6 Big Ten) out of a tie for the conference lead with the Gophers.

Kris Myllari's power-play goal at 10 minutes, 44 seconds of the opening period gave No. 11 PSU (21-9-2, 10-7-1) a 1-0 lead, and David Goodwin scored at even strength 50 seconds later. David Thompson made it 3-0 in the second. Goodwin got his second goal midway through the third, and the host Nittany Lions scored two more after that.

Ohio State 5, Michigan State 3: Dakota Joshua's power-play goal at 5:04 of the third period for the Buckeyes broke a 3-all tie with the visiting Spartans.

Minnesota Duluth 6, Western Michigan 3: Adam Johnson scored late goals in the first and second periods as the No. 3 Bulldogs beat the No. 8 Broncos to get a split on the road. Hunter Miska stopped 28 shots for UMD.

North Dakota 5, Miami (Ohio) 2: The No. 15 Fighting Hawks swept the host RedHawks, scoring three times in the third period. Tucker Poolman had two goals and two assists for UND.

Colorado College 2, St. Cloud State 1: Branden Makara and Matt Hansen scored goals 1:13 apart late in the opening period as the Tigers edged the No. 19 Huskies for a series split in St. Cloud.

Minnesota State Mankato 4, Alaska 1: Max Coatta had two goals and an assist as the Mavericks (21-11-4) beat the visiting Nanooks (12-20-4) to win their series 2-0.

Northern Michigan 4, Bemidji State 2: Dominik Shine scored twice as the visiting Wildcats (13-21-4) tied the series with the host Beavers (21-14-3) at 1-1.
