UND wins on shorthanded OT goal

• NORTH DAKOTA 3, AIR FORCE 2 (OT): Ben Chyzyk's shorthanded goal with seven seconds left in overtime gave No. 3 UND a victory over the Falcons in the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game in Grand Forks on Saturday night.

• MICHIGAN TECH 6, MICHIGAN 2: Blake Pietila had a goal and two assists to lead the Huskies (6-0) over the Wolverines (2-5). Tanner Kero and Tyler Heinonen scored goals in the first eight minutes to put Michigan Tech ahead 2-0. Andrew Copp had the only goal for Michigan, which had a 28-27 shot advantage. The Huskies were 4-for-7 on the power play.

• MICHIGAN STATE 4, FERRIS STATE 1: Mackenzie MacEachern and Villiam Haag each had a goal and an assists as the Spartans (5-2-3) beat the visiting Bulldogs (3-4) for a split in their series. Michigan State outshot Ferris State 34-21.

• OHIO STATE 4, CANISIUS 1: Nick Oddo scored twice and added an assist as the visiting Buckeyes (2-3-1) edged the Golden Griffins (4-2-1) after the teams tied the night before.

WCHA

• BOWLING GREEN 3, MINNESOTA STATE 1: Tyler Spezia and Kevin Dufour scored third-period goals for the visiting Falcons (5-2-1, 3-1 WCHA) to break a 1-all tie. C.J. Franklin scored for the Mavericks (5-3, 3-1) who won the first game of the series 5-2.
