More changes at Solera. As of Dec. 31, the downtown Minneapolis tapas restaurant will be losing its executive chef, J.P. Samuelson. "Turned in my resignation at Solera," Samuelson tweeted last night. "My last day will be NYE...can't say where I'm going yet but will announce via Twitter, stay tuned!"

Samuelson's impending departure is the latest change at the top at Solera. Founders Tim McKee and Josh Thoma sold their interest last month to what is essentially the building's landlord, and the restaurant and events center is now being operated by Graves Hospitality Corp., which operates the nearby Graves 601 Wyndham Grand Collection Hotel and its restaurants, Cosmos and Bradstreet Craftshouse.

Samuelson has a long and distinguished Twin Cities track record, running the former D'Amico Cucina, Bobino and his own jP American Bistro before signing on with Solera about two years ago.
