So the Twins caravan made a stop in Cedar Rapids on Tuesday night and closer Glen Perkins, who pitched for the University of Minnesota, brought a guest to the dinner.

It was the pig. Perkins comandeered Floyd of Rosedale, the trophy that goes to the winner of the football game between Minnesota and Iowa.

The Gophers recaptured Floyd by beating the Iowa 51-14 two months ago.
