A Rochester woman fell out the window of a moving car on a southeastern Minnesota highway, and authorities are trying to determine which of the three passengers was driving.

The incident occurred about 5:20 p.m. Saturday along Hwy. 52 at Fillmore County Road 40, just southeast of Chatfield, according to the State Patrol.

Saralyn R. Squillace, 23, of Rochester, was taken to a Rochester hospital with noncritical injuries.

According to the patrol, the car was heading north on Hwy. 52, when Squillace fell out of the front passenger window.

Also in the car were a 24-year-old woman from Racine, Minn., and a 21-year-old man from Rochester. Neither was injured. Their identities have yet to be released.

The patrol said it detected alcohol use by all three people, but has yet to determine which of the three had been driving. Those who escaped injury "have been less than forthcoming" about who was behind the wheel, said patrol Lt. Brian Buck.

Buck said the car was traveling about the speed limit, 55 miles per hour, along that stretch of highway when Squillace tumbled out of the window.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the patrol at 1-507-285-7410.
