If you have yet to see this Brian Robison lowlight video from Sunday's loss to the Packers, here's your warning. The footage you're about to view is uncomfortable and may leave you talking for the next 25 minutes as if you've just inhaled a tank of helium.

Yep, the Vikings defensive end has had better moments than that one in which he kicked Packers offensive lineman T.J. Lang in the groin following a Mason Crosby field goal attempt. For Robison, it was a stupid reaction. It was caught on tape. And now it will cost him $20,000. That's the fine the NFL handed down Wednesday after reviewing Robison's, um, misstep.

Earlier in the week, Robison apologized to Lang, both through the media and over Twitter. And Lang accepted .

Robison's kick has been labeled as classless by the harshest of critics, who also believed a suspension would have been justifiable.

Robison spoke with reporters Monday afternoon at Winter Park. He admitted he screwed up. He understood a fine was coming. And he did his best to handle the situation with a sense of humor and humility.

"Anytime you do something like that, you regret it," Robison said. "But it's kind of like I explained to him, I wasn't going for the [groin area]. It happened to land there. It's something that I wish I could have back."

Robison called the kick "out of character" and vowed to not let it happen again.

To add insult to the matter, his Twitter account blew up with feedback after his kick.

"I got on there Sunday," he said, "I think by the time I got on, there was already like 500-something mentions. I'd say probably 87 percent of them were Packer fans telling me how much of a piece of [junk] I am. ... I got a few text messages. One of my best friends out in California was like, 'Dude, you're on the front page of Yahoo.' I'm like, 'Oh, great.'"
