Sidney Rice said he played between 52 and 56 snaps (he couldn't remember exact number) against the Packers in his first game after returning from hip surgery Sunday.

"There really wasn't too much pain after the game or the following day," he said.

Rice is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Washington. Rice did not practice Thursday after feeling a little soreness in his right hip but he returned Friday on a limited basis.

"It didn't bother me Monday or Tuesday or anything like that," Rice said. "I came out Wednesday and pushed it in practice. It was just a little sore. Coach [Leslie Frazier] gave me the day off Thursday. But just because you take the day off [from practice] doesn't mean it's a day off period. You still have to get the mental reps and things like that."

Bernard Berrian also is listed as questionable because of a groin injury. Berrian also was limited Friday after sitting out Thursday.

"I think Sidney is going to be fine," Frazier said. "He seemed like he did pretty good [Friday], and we'll evaluate it again tomorrow and see how he feels when he wakes up. Bernard is making improvements. We'll find out more about him tomorrow as well. He has kind of been up and down the past two games as far as being in and out. We'll have to make a decision sometime tomorrow whether he is going to make it or not."

Rookie cornerback Chris Cook was added to the injury report with a knee injury and is listed as questionable. Cook already has had minor surgery on both knees this season.

Safety Jamarca Sanford (hamstring) has been ruled out and safety Eric Frampton (hamstring) is questionable. Their absences could play a significant role in special teams because they are two of the team's best cover guys.

Washington's injury situation is significant. Safety LaRon Landry (achilles) and running back Ryan Torain (hamstring) are out.

Ten players are listed as questionable -- linebacker Lorenzo Alexander, wide receiver Brandon Banks, guard Derrick Dockery, defensive end Kedric Golston, guard Artis Hicks, defensive end Jeremy Jarmon, linebacker Rocky McIntosh, wide receiver Santana Moss, center Casay Rabach and cornerback Carlos Rogers.
