Searchers have offered a $10,000 reward to find Henry McCabe, a Mounds View resident missing since Labor Day.

Money will come from the fundraising committee of Minnesota Community Policing Services, said the nonprofit organization's leader, David Singleton. He announced the reward during a search for McCabe last weekend.

The reward seeks to determine "the location and recovery of Henry McCabe," Singleton said.

The organization also is arranging an anonymous tip line that won't be connected to police agencies. "Nobody has to be concerned with your identity, it will be concealed," Singleton said. "Those of you who may have immigration issues, law enforcement is only concerned with the location of Henry McCabe."

McCabe is a Liberian immigrant, and many of the searchers are the same.

Singleton also said that "we are getting to the end of our ground search efforts" but other forms of investigation will continue. Recent searches have taken place in the Creekview Park vicinity in New Brighton, the location of the last call placed from McCabe's cellphone. His wife answered that call, at 2:28 a.m. on Labor Day, to hear what sounded like moaning and screams.

McCabe is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds, according to a Facebook page created to alert people to his disappearance. He is married and has two daughters, 10 and 2, and is an auditor.

Anybody with information concerning McCabe's disappearance can contact the police at 763-717-4070 or the Ramsey County dispatch line at 651-484-9155, or go to the Minnesota Community Policing Services page on Facebook.
