There are a number of services to help families with aging relatives, but working through the maze of financial, emotional and health care issues can be overwhelming. Here are some places to get started:

Amherst H. Wilder Foundation: A new website offers resources for caregiving, including an online forum to connect with other Minnesota caregivers, at www.CareGivingLink.org.

Eldercare Partners: Focuses on helping caregivers, including matching them with individual consultants in the Twin Cities area. Call 651-234-2262 or go to eldercarepartners.org.

LeadingAge Minnesota: This organization focuses primarily on housing issues, but includes a city by city search that includes resources for home care, hospice and adult day care. Go to www.leadingagemn.org/families/options.
