The Vikings have tendered contracts for 2010 to restricted free agents Tarvaris Jackson and Fred Evans, according to reports.

The NFL's website reports that Jackson, a 2006 second-round pick, was tendered a contract at a third-round level ($1.176 million). According to NFL.com, "because of other tenders issued by the Vikings this tender does not guarantee the team a second-round pick as compensation for Jackson."

Evans, meanwhile, received a second-round tender, according to ProFootballtalk.com. That puts him in line to make $1.759 million in 2010 or the Vikings would get a second-round pick in return if another team signs him away.

This comes after the Vikings put a first-round tender on defensive end Ray Edwards earlier in the day.

Jackson, Evans and Edwards all have four seasons in the NFL. The trio previously would have been unrestricted free agents but that changed when the league and the NFL players association failed to agree on an extension of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Here's a look at what the Vikings have done in terms of extending offers to their RFAs.

DE Ray Edwards: Received a first-round tender of $2.5 million.

DT Fred Evans: Received a second-round tender of $1.8 million

QB Tarvaris Jackson: Received a third-round tender of $1.2 million

FB Naufahu Tahi: Was tendered with the right of first refusal, meaning the Vikings would not be in line to get a draft pick if Tahi is signed by another team and Minnesota doesn't match.

CB Karl Paymah: Has been told he will not receive any type of offer and thus will become an unrestricted free agent.

Still checking: Offensive lineman Ryan Cook and safety Eric Frampton.
