Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports via Twitter that Ron Gardenhire -- entering the final year of his Twins contract -- is selling his home in the Twin Cities suburb of Little Canada.
Before you connect too many dots, however, Nightengale offers some clarity on his house-hunting motives:
Twins manager Ron Gardenhire is selling house in Minnesota but has nothing to do w job status and hopes to remain w #Twins— Bob Nightengale (@BNightengale) February 21, 2013
Gardenhire bought home off Fort Myersbeach and plans to have that as residence and rent in Minn #Twins— Bob Nightengale (@BNightengale) February 21, 2013
Minnesota winters get to all of us eventually. Regardless of Gardenhire's intentions, we can't blame him for opting for a warmer winter destination -- one, we should note of course, that also happens to be the Twins' spring training home. Our only real concern is what will become of his bowling average.
