It's become an annual question before the NFL Scouting Combine: Which quarterbacks will throw and which ones won't.
Many of the top quarterback prospects each year elect to skip the throwing portion of the combine and wait until their school's pro day workouts or private workouts for NFL teams.
Teams obviously prefer to see the quarterbacks take part in every drill because they want as much information on each prospect as possible. NFL coaches and executives often voice frustration when prospects decide to skip part of the combine workouts, whether it's quarterbacks not throwing or receivers not running the 40.
ProFootballTalk.com has a rundown on some of the quarterbacks decisions heading into the combine this week.
The NFL Network reports that Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton will participate fully in the event while Missouri's Blaine Gabbert will not throw, according to USA Today.
