Authorities in Bemidji were searching Saturday for whoever stabbed a Redby woman to death the night before and dumped her in the street.
The woman was identified as Krista Fisherman, 35. She was discovered in the street on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue about 7:15 p.m. Friday. Police said she appeared to have been stabbed numerous times.
First responders took her to Sanford Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Bemidji police called her death a homicide and were investigating with the help of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office.
