You've heard of "oversigning," the practice of college football coaches promising more scholarships than they have available and sorting it all out later.

Florida athlete D.J. Law apparently has done the reverse by singing with three different schools Wednesday.

The Clarion-Ledger in Jackson, Miss., reported that both Utah and Mississippi are claiming they received signed letters of intent from Law. Law also signed with East Mississippi Community College.

According to the Clarion-Ledger, Ole Miss announced the signing of Law this morning. Utah announced it signed Law in the afternoon but a school spokesperson told the newspaper she believes Law's letter was received earlier in the day.

Meanwhile, Bay News 9 posted a video on its website that shows Law announcing he will play for Utah and putting on a Utes hat.

In a message posted to his Twitter account John Infante, a former compliance officer for NCAA Division I schools and author of the Bylaw Blog, said "whichever conference validated and recorded the [letter of intent] first would have the valid one."
