Key to the game: Stillwater's ability to execute on fourth down. Three times the Ponies did so to extend or cap its first two scoring drives. Later, the Ponies' Brooks Carroll took a direct snap and ran a fake punt 36 yards to Roseville's 30-yard line. The fourth-quarter drive ended with a touchdown and a 14-0 Stillwater lead.

Quote: "He doesn't hold anything back. When he has a job to do, he steps up." — Stillwater running back Zach Knox on quarterback DJ Skie

One thing to know: Skie, a converted receiver playing his first varsity game under center, threw two touchdown passes. He completed a 5-yard touchdown pass to tight end Matt Anderson. Later he and Knox later connected on a 27-yard touchdown on a fourth-and-7 play.
