And yes, he is most certainly trying to help Minnesota -- whatever the reason -- drum up interest in the No. 3 overall pick with a potential QB-starved suitor. He's referring to Ryan Tannehill, a QB prospect from Texas A&M who some draft wonks think could be deserving of going with the third pick.
The most intriguing possible suitor? Miami has the No. 8 pick, and their new offensive coordinator (Mike Sherman) was Tannehill's college coach at Texas A&M.
