Randball: A better 2015 has Twins fans optimistic

Several Twins players have pointed out that 2015, while a step forward, fell short of the team's goals. It was a better season but not a great season.

Still, the difference a year makes in public perception is palpable. A recent Startribune.com poll asked readers how optimistic they were about the upcoming season. A full 46 percent responded either "extremely" or "pretty," while an additional 32 percent indicated they were "a bit" excited.

That's nearly four in every five fans displaying optimism. At this time last year, the number would have been nowhere near that high.
