The University Avenue/4th Street ramp to northbound I-35W has closed and will remain that way for the next two weeks. However, it will be open temporarily Friday night to help traffic flow following the Vikings-Raiders game at TCF Bank Stadium, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.
The ramp is closed while crews build a new northbound auxiliary lane on I-35W from University Avenue to the Johnson Street exit.
Here is how to get onto northbound I-35W:
• Northbound 10th Avenue and 11th Avenue
• Northbound Johnson Street
• Eastbound Broadway Street
• Northbound New Brighton Boulevard to the northbound I-35W entrance ramp
